On the occasion of International Youth Day, ATSEC India, together with its State Convenors, youth leaders, and partner organizations from across the country, participated in an inspiring webinar hosted by ATSEC Youth on the theme “Youth as Change Agents in Combating Trafficking.”

The webinar brought together passionate young people, anti-trafficking practitioners, and civil society representatives to discuss the vital role of youth in preventing human trafficking and protecting vulnerable communities. Participants shared experiences, innovative ideas, and community-based approaches to raising awareness, identifying risks, and supporting survivors.

The discussions emphasized that young people are not merely beneficiaries of development initiatives but powerful leaders capable of driving social change. Through awareness campaigns, digital advocacy, peer education, community engagement, and collaboration with local stakeholders, youth can play a transformative role in preventing trafficking and promoting safe migration.

State Convenors highlighted successful initiatives undertaken in their respective states and encouraged greater youth participation in building trafficking-free communities. The webinar also provided a platform for participants to exchange best practices and strengthen the nationwide network of youth committed to ending human trafficking.
