1.State Co-ordinators meet on February 26-27, 2006, at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. 18 representatives from 16 State Chapters participated in the meeting. It was decided in this meeting that 6 new State Chapters will be opened.

2.National Level TOT (Training of Trainers) was held on the 28th of February and the 1st of March.17 participants attended the TOT on Advocacy on the methods, principles and other aspects of dealing with various cases of Human Trafficking.

3.A meeting was organized in Raipur, Chattisgarh, for the formation of ATSEC Chattisgarh, State Chapter, on the 12th-13th April 2006. 42 participants from 23 NGOs participated in the meeting. It was also attended by Sri. Manabendra Mandal, National Co-ordinator, ATSEC India, and Sri Sanjay Mishra, State Co-ordinator, ATSEC, Jharkhand.Sri Dipak Ghoshal was elected as the State Co-ordinator for ATSEC Chattisgarh State Chapter.

4.Eastern Zonal Meet of ATSEC Co-ordinators at Betla forest guesthouse on the 29th-30th of April. The programme was attended by State Co-ordinators from Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chattisgarh.

5.ATSEC South Asian Regional Meeting was held in Kolkata, on the 7th-10th of March 2006.Participants from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India, came together to discuss on networking as well as the current situation of Human Trafficking in the region. Discussions were also held on the SAARC convention on Trafficking for Prostitution.
